How Do YOU like your Margaritas?

April 8th, 2018

As I lay back on my favorite beach chair I realized how lucky I was. The Sun was shining {my tanning game was in FULL FORCE}, I had a frozen margarita sitting beside me {made by angels}, and I could hear the sound of the ocean crash onto the crystal clear sand. Yup, I was a lucky guy! OH, did I mention I had the latest issue of Vanity Fair?

As you already know, I am not a big writer, ESPECIALLY when on holiday! Therefor, I am going to list my top three favorite pastimes when I go back home to Trinidad and Tobago, W.I.

1. Doing NOTHING!
As many of you know, I am a big fan of a nap but when I get to do it every day and not feel badly… SIGN ME UP!

2. Horseback Riding on the Beach
Did you know for three years as a young teen I rode horses competitively? I was formally trained in the art of Dressage and Showjumping and I loved every minute of it. Well, in Trinidad we have a sister island, Tobago. Tobago is sort of like what the Hamptons is to NYC. A vacation spot for the people that work on the main land {Trinidad/NYC}

In Tobago, it is vastly popular to book in for a fabulous {and in some cases - & mine} romantic, horseback ride on a secluded beach. This had to make it on my two three list because it’s something I have not seen available in CT. If you know of a place please email me, Hello@TrisAnderson.com

3. Dinner and Breakfast… And lunch
I am a HUGE foodie and there is something about being on vacation that gives you a free pass to eat the most indulgent meals without a care for Calories. I cannot tell you how much I ate, mostly because I don’t want to think about it, but I can tell you that everything I ate made me feel warm and fuzzy inside!

Did I mention Margaritas? Well… I had a fabulous bartender. His name was Philip and he could make a spicy margarita that would make your head spin. Trust me, that was a very good thing!

I managed to ask Philip to write down the recipe for this so that I can share it with you. CLICK HERE to have the recipe sent to your inbox!

Cheers,
